Tofu balls can basically be eaten alone, because everyone likes munching on these little bites. Couscous and parsley add a delicate oriental undertone:

Ingredients Directions
  • 2 packages marinated TOFU
  • 75 g couscous
  • 2 tbsp. starch flour
  • 2 tsp. parsley
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • Sunflower oil
  • Dressing (your preferred)
  1. According to the package instructions, pour couscous into boiling water and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Puree TOFU, couscous, starch flour, chopped onion and parsley in a blender or food processor.
  3. Flavor the mixture with mustard, soy sauce, pepper, and salt.
  4. With dampened hands form the mixture into balls. Fry the balls to golden brown in hot oil.
  5. Serve couscous balls with a vegetable salad and your favorite dressing.
