The basic ingredient for our spreads consists of legumes. These are recommended by nutritionists because of their high protein content. Spreads can be used a variety of dishes, aside from simply spreading on breads, they can be used to flavor sauces and soups. They are also wonderful as a filling for pies, savory tortes, and quiches.
