This vegetable salad with tofu and chilli peppers deserves the attention of every gourmet in the family.  While leafy greens provide fresh vitamins, tofu ensures your supply of high-quality protein.

Lightly spicy vegetable salad

Ingredients Directions
  • 2 chilli TOFU
  • 300 g canned pineapple
  • 4 green onions
  • 2 purple endives
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 limes
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • Oil
  • Dressing (your preferred)

 

  1. Wash leafy vegetables, let them drain, and tear them into smaller pieces.
  2. Chop the TOFU into cubes and finely chop the onions and chilli pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix together strained pineapple, onions, endive, lettuce, juice of ½ a lime, salt, pepper, and oil.
  4. Thoroughly toss and divide onto serving plates. Garnish the vegetable salad with chopped chilli, tofu, and lime wedges. Serve with dressing.
